The Hanifen Center at Marian House Officially Opens
The Hanifen Center at Marian House ceremoniously cuts the ribbon to officially commemorate it’s opening today.
Two years after breaking ground, and one year after the Grand Opening of the Marian House Soup Kitchen, The Hanifen Center at Marian House, named after Bishop Richard C. Hanifen, announces programs covering housing, employment/income, life skills, education, mental health, medical/physical health, transportation, and childcare referrals. Partnerships are still being developed to provide services in these areas.
All emergency assistance programs of Catholic Charities, including Marian House Community Outreach, Marian House Client Services, and the Marian House Life Support Center, will be housed at the center.
Fund-raising continues in an effort to raise the $1.4 million needed to complete the project. If you would like to get involved in the Marian House capital campaign, please call 719.201.2991.
